Copper alloy sewing ring or topless thimble. Cast short conical ring of internal diameter 17-15mm with a pronounced foot ring and with vertical rows of three hand stamped circular pits of diameter 1.4mm equidistantly spaced around its circumference. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800.
