A base sherd fragment of North Italian Marbled polychrome dish of bowl dating from AD1600-1650. The sherd consists of part of the base and side wall. The sherd is glazed with a red body and red, dark brown/black, cream and green polychrome marbling on the inside and outside, the underside of the base is unglazed and the foot is slightly bevelled with a concave base.
Similar examples can be seen in Hurst, Neal and van Beuningenm (1986:34 Fig.14.28)
