A knife-end stop, bifurcated in the form of two horses hooves with shoes, both with vertical groove between four nail-holes and prominent calkins, a slot contains a fragment of the iron tang. Width 13.5mm. Length 11mm (excluding tang). Cf. Read (2001), fig.56, 650-2. 16th century.
