Medieval copper alloy buckle with a composite rigid plate, the outer sheet plates of which are missing. The oval frame is lipped and the bar is not offset. There is much solder on both faces of the forked spacer. A small example, length and width 30.5mm. Width 13.6mm. 14th - mid 15th century.
