A copper-alloy single looped D-shaped buckle frame. Both pin and plate are missing. Slight traces of gilding are evident on the strap bar. The frame is similar to an example illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991, page 70; fig 70) which is Medieval, and dated from 1350 to 1400.
