An incomplete copper alloy cylindrical possible die or stamp, of uncertain dating, possibly Post Medieval (AD 1500 to AD 1800).
The artefact consists of a cylinder, with one flat surface, with a bevelled edge, and one indented surface, with a probable bevelled edge. The indented surface has been decorated, with a scallop shell design. The sides are undecorated.
It measures 6.8 mm in length, with a diameter of 9.0 mm. The scallop shell is 1.0 mm below the surface. It weighs 2.2 g.
The artefact is a dark brown colour, with an even surface patina.
