Copper alloy possible buckle fragment. About one half of a cast D-section ring, broken at a slight expansion at one of its ends; this might suggest this to have been a simple buckle frame, rather light in proportion to its size, and broken across a separate spindle housing. A trace of white metal plating appears adjacent to the broken end. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1800.
