An early-medeival silver penny of Cnut (1016-35), short cross (North 790), mint: Lincoln, moneyer: Oslac. Ref: North 1994: 168.

NOTE: This coin was folded in half when found, snapping during an unfolding attempt. It has been professionally cleaned and restored. The fold can be seen most clearly on the reverse running from just left of the initial cross down the coin between the O and N (of ON) in the reverse inscription.
