COIN

Unique ID: BERK-5E33B4

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

A small copper alloy Roman nummus (AE4), a contemporary copy of a late House of Constantine FEL TEMP REPARATIO (fallen horseman) type. It is unclear whether the coin was deliberately struck on a small flan, exclusing all legends, or if it has been cut down at a later date. The workman ship is very crude, and the reverse image is just recognisable as a FTR type.
