Fragment of a Roman fantail brooch dating from c. AD70-200. Only part of the bow and the fan-shaped foot with the pin rest underneath remain. the underside of the brooch was plain, but the obverse was decorated with two moulded spirales/volutes which were, probably, filled with red enamel.
