A copper alloy Iron Age to early Roman toggle (c. 100 BC - AD c. 100). The toggle is of the dumbell type comprising two globular roughly conical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Integral raised collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet.
The object has a dark green patina. Overall, it measures 18.2mm long and 5.6mm in diameter. The central shaft measures 4.3mm in diameter. It weighs 1.58g.
