Incomplete, worn and corroded medieval to post-medieval copper alloy purse bar, bent, with one surviving wrythen decorated terminal, of LMMC Type B3. The shield-shaped boss is undecorated with a stump of the missing bar on one side. Most of the central loop is missing, lower part with a separate bi-conical rove at base. Extant length (unbent) c.66mm. Extant height 18mm. Boss height 11.5mm, width 13mm, thickness 7.5mm. c.1500 - c.1550.
