Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester-derivative brooch of Mackreth's (2011) CDRH. The pin, lower bow, foot and catchplate are missing. The C-shaped wings are both incomplete due to old breaks. At the centre of the head is the stub of the rearhook. The bow tapers to an old break. It is decorated with a single sunken wavy ridge.
See Mackreth (2011), Vol. I, p. 64 - 65 & Vol. II, pl. 39 - 40.
