An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1400. It consists of a broadly hexagonal body, with a tri-lobed projecting knop extending from each diagonal angle and the lower edge of the pendant (the latter being mostly broken away). At its apex, there is a suspension loop turned at right angles to the plane of the body of the pendant, which also survives complete. The outer face of the pendant seems to be demonstrate raised moulded decoration, though this is obscured by surface corrosion. At the centre of the pendant there is a raised circular element, within which is a cell of heavily degraded blue enamel. The rear face of the pendant is plain and undecorated. Preserved in fair condition, the pendant survives to a length of 34.68mm, 29.75mm wide, and 2.92mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 8.90g.
A pendant of broadly similar form is published by Ashley (2002), assigned a broad date of c. 1200-1400 (Ashley 2002, p. 24, no. 231).
