A Medieval to Post Medieval cast circular token of Powell type 12 dating to the period cAD1250 - 1800. The token is decorated with a raised millstone design, with diagonal lines extending from a central cross or saltire in a snowflake-like pattern. The reverse also features a raised design, possibly a very crude depiction of the initials TES, although this is unclear. Due to damage or incomplete casting the token is now incomplete, missing c. 40% its outer edge.
The token measures 26.30mm in diameter and weighs 5.08g.
