Silver threepence of Elizabeth I of the 3rd and 4th issue dating 1561, with the initial mark a pheon. Obverse has bust of queen facing left with a rose behind her head and the legend ELIZABETH D G ANG FR ET HI. The reverse has a squared shield over a long cross fourchee dividing the legend POSVI/DEV AD/IVTORE/M MEV. The date above the shield is 1561.
