Front sheet plate from a medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap end. The spacer would have been full-width. On both sides there are four cut-outs before an elaborate trefoil knop, cf. Margeson 1993, no. 232. There is a rivet in the centre of the knop and a rivet holes near the attachment edge. The main part is decorated with a diagonal lattice of rocker-arm engraving. Length 55mm. Width 13mm. 14th century.
