Medieval lead spindle whorl, flat biconical one face decorated with two rings of pellets, set within two raised rings, one around the edge, the other around the 10.8mm diameter central hole. The other face also bears two rings within which is ring of pellets linked by short ribs. A thirteenth-sixteenth century date is likely. Diameter 30.5mm, Thickness 9.6mm, Mass 33.57g.
