A post-medieval silver sixpence of Charles I (AD 1625-1649), dating to the period AD 1635-1636. Struck at the Tower of London under Charles. Group D fourth bust, Crown initial mark. The coin has been double-struck on the obverse, and it has also been lightly bent in two directions, similar to 'love tokens' of the post-medieval period. North N2241.
