A very worn brooch or mount probably fragment probably dating from the 1st-4th century AD but it could be earlier. It is oval and the obverse has been decorated with white metal and what appears to be the traces of beading. The reverse is plain with no obvious signs of attachment which may mean that it is a component element of a larger object. The diameter is 35mm.
