A Romano-British copper-alloy mount in the form of a bust of Minerva. Minerva wears a Corinthian helmet with diagonally cut notches on the crest. Curls of hair flow out beneath the helmet along the forehead. The facial features are worn, but feint lines illustrating the eyes, nose, and mouth are visible. The reverse of the upper chest is concave, and in the centre is possibly the remains of a broken stud or shank. Iron corrosion adheres to both sides of the base.
The mount is similar to another from Ribchester, Lancashire (LANCUM-B19766).
