The finger ring is polygonal in shape, with eight external facets (octagonal). The hoop has an circular cross section. The facets are flat. Each one is 10.8 m in length. No decoration is present on any facet.
The finger ring has a 21.4 mm external diameter, 18.0 mm internally. The hoop is 2.2 mm thick and 1.6 mm wide. It weighs 0.9 g.
The finger ring is a mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina.
Similar polygonal finger rings have been recorded on the PAS database, including WILT-BDB6F9 and HAMP-D6BA2D. This is considered to be that of a Henig Type IX (Guiraud type 9a).
