An incomplete copper alloy artefact, of uncertain dating, probably Post Medieval (AD 1500 to AD 1900).

The artefact is sub triangular in shape, with one forked end. When viewed from the side, the artefact is curved. Both ends exhibit an old patinated break. The forked end is wider than the other one, with the remains of a semi circular hole between the two prongs. Located off centre, on the front of the artefact is a raised triangular ridge, pointing in the direction of the forked end.

It measures 42.8 mm in length, 14.6 mm wide (forked end), 7.0 mm wide (straight end) and 3.7 mm thick (centre point). It weighs 6.1 g.

The artefact is a mid green colour, with an even surface patina.
