Incomplete post medieval copper alloy pipe tamper dating to the period c. AD 1600 - 1850. It exhibits a cylindrical stem with, at one end a flat terminal with a double collar. At the opposite end is a double collar followed by an incomplete hoop which temrinates in old breaks on either side. It is probable that the loop originally extended into a signet style ring.
