A fragment of copper-alloy Early-Medieval strap-end c. AD 775-990, Thomas Class A2.

Description: The fragment survives only as part of the split-end through which the rivet holes are cut. One of the rivet holes is broken. The upper face is decorated by a simple compass etched ring and dot motif, typical Thomas Class A2. The would have been on the internal facing of the split attatchement. The fragment is a dark green colour.

Measurements; 13.24mm long, 9.35mm wide, 1.14mm thick and 0.22g in weight.
