Incomplete medieval copper alloy strap fitting, a bar-mount with one end missing, C-sectioned with a rivet hole countersunk on both faces. At the intact end the cross-section becomes rectangular, sligthly thicker and wider at a square boss with a V-sectioned notch on both sides. Extant length 26.8mm. Width 5.1 - 5.9mm. Thickness 2.2 - 2.4mm. 14th century.
