A post-medieval cast copper alloy button with enamel decoration and integral shank of the 'Stuart enamel' type dated c. 1600-1700 AD. The button has a convex form with a central raised knop from which radiates multiple cells to the rim, infilled with either blue, white or black enamel. The remnant of the fixing lug remains to the underside.
