Medieval to post-medieval copper alloy ring of hexagonal cross-section with some file marks. A straight and rough surfaced part of the outer face suggests casting in a multiple mould. External diameter 22.5 - 23.1mm. Internal diameter 14.5mm. Thickness 2.3mm. Possibly used in the suspension of drapes (Egan 1998, 62-4). Mid 14th - 16th century.
