Incomplete and distorted medieval gilt copper alloy harness mount, an almost flat bar of plano-convex cross-section, one end missing, broken just beyond a pair of transverse ribs, the other incomplete, in the form of a fleur-de-lis and with a rivet hole, beyond a pair of transverse ribs which project slightly from the sides. Very similar to NMS-0A8D6E. Extant length 50.7mm. Width 9.2mm, at the fleur 15.8mm. Thickness 2mm. 13th - 14th century.
