Distorted outside edge of a medieval copper alloy oval buckle frame with a central trefoil knop, cf. Whitehead 2003, nos. 107-8. There are three longitudinal grooves on the knop, two between the foils and the central one subdividing the wider central foil. Dimensions not known, but the width of the knop is 11.7mm. 13th - 14th century.
