An incomplete copper alloy pin, probably of Middle Saxon date (circa 720-850). The pin head is biconical with a flattened median band. A shaft of circular section extends from the base of the head. The shaft is decorated with three collars just below the head. The shaft gently bends outwards 21mm below the head. It is broken shortly after.
