A complete copper alloy piece post medieval hook, dating to the period AD 1600-1700.

The plate is trifoliate in design with a circular and lozenge shape apertures, and a projecting bifurcate collar at the juncture of the plate. The plate consists of decorative open work shapes, two circles at the top, and an irregular lozenge shape beneath. On the top aperture, and below the open lozenge, there are rivets, both of which are manufactured of iron. This is evident due to them both being heavily corroded. The hook is blunt, and remains integral to the plate. Attached to the hook is a separate suspended pendant ring.

The height of the object is 41.26mm, the width is 15.94mm and the weight is 3.87g.
