A flint core of probable late Mesolithic to early Neolithic date. The core has a single platform of roughly semi-circular form. It has been poorly prepared, and was probably rejected fairly quickly. The flat vertical face is still largely covered in its cortex, although some attempt has been made to remove this. The convex vertical face has three or four narrow flake removal scars which are consistent with the production of narrow blades. The surface of the flint has a light greyish blue patina. It measures 29.3mm wide by 17.2mm thick and 44.6mm high. It weighs 36.19g.
