A fragment of Roman (AD 250-410) copper alloy three-strand cable-twisted bracelet with old breaks at either end. The strands are flat and rectangular in cross-section, measuring c.1.9x0.9mm. The original patina is now lost and the metal is slightly rough to touch and purpley-brown in colour wit traces of a light, bright green corrosion product in places. It measures 43.9mm in length, 5.9mm in width, 3.6mm in thickness and weighs 4.95g.
