A complete Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic flint scraper (c. 7000 BC-c. 3500 BC).
This implement has been produced on a secondary flake and has a striking platform at the proximal end. The dorsal face has about 40% cortex and the distal end has been retouched to form a working surface. The retouch is short abrupt and parallel. At the proximal end of the ventral face there is a bulb of percussion. There are no ripples on the ventral face.
The scraper is mottled grey and off-white and the cortex is brown and buff.
