Medieval to post-medieval unidentified object, a flat, square copper alloy plate with rocker-arm engraving around all four edges on one face and a diagonal band of solder corner to corner on the other. There is some similarity to the plate of a double sharp-hooked clasp of Read 2008, early post-medieval Class S, Type 1, but there is no central rivet. 18.7 x 18.2 x 1mm. Perhaps mid 15th - mid 16th century.
