Copper alloy mount. Cast plate in the form of a teardrop with basal collar and knop and with a trilobate upper end. A moulded bordered floral or vegetal motif appears on the display side of the plate. An integrally cast sub-rectangular section hook passes from behind the trilobite feature and is bent sharply forwards about half way along it. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1650.
