A complete cast lead alloy token of later Medieval to Post-Medieval date (c. AD 1400 - 1800). The token is broadly sub-circular in plan. The obverse decoration consists of four raised ribs radiating from a central point which has divided the face into quadrants; each quadrant has a raised sub-circular pellet. There is a raised rim around part of the circumference on the obverse. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token has an even mid grey surface patina.

Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as use as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely. Those carrying initials are generally deemed to be Post-Medieval in date (AD 1500 - 1850), those which seem to mimic Medieval penny designs are deemed to be Medieval, the remainder which carry stylised designs remain difficult to date but the majority are probably Post-Medieval.

The token measures 23.16mm diameter, is 2.05mm thick and weighs 3.68grams.
