A fragment of a ceramic vessel of Post-Medieval date. The fragment is broadly trapezoidal in plan, and S shaped in profile. It is dark brown in colour, and has a shiny glaze applied to the outer face. Small, occasional white inclusions are present in the fabric. Decoration comprises two large circles stamped into the fabric on raised areas, as well as incised lines radiating form the outer edge of the circles. A long incised groove curves in from one edge and then back towards the perimeter. The aurface of the fragment undulates.
The fragment measures 50.97mm in length, 33.15mm in width, 4.91mm in thickness and weighs 10.95g.
