Copper alloy button and loop fastener, cast thick [2.2mm] circular plate with a cast triangular loop probably brazed to a low [3.8mm] cylindrical lug of diameter 7.8mm set centrally on the back of the plate; Wild Class 5c. The loop is now bent forward over one edge of the plate. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-200.
