An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy, lion head cloak clasp dating to the 18th-19th century. The domed circular plate has a rope twist rim at the front with a prominent forward facing male lion's head with a heavy mane. The lion head is concave at the rear. The left side has a loop set perpendicular to the main frame. On the right side there are the remains of a rectangular loop which is now missing. The clasp retains some areas of gilding.
