Copper alloy buckle plate fragment. Sub-rectangular plate, slightly wider at the inner end, broken at its outer end as it curves to clasp a frame [lost]. A pair of drilled rivet holes of diameter 2mm are set towards the inner end, to attach the plate to its back and to the strap. An incised linear border follows the outer edge. Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1400.
