Copper alloy button. Possibly die stamped hollow concavo-convex conical button front with a drawn and hammered wire loop brazed into its concave back. The front bears closely spaced lines running in a single direction; these appear as negative features on the back. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1850.
