Three Roman ceramic sherds, each from separate greyware vessels, probably dating to c. AD 43-410. All three sherds are of a similar hard fired pale grey fabric, with abundant sub-rounded quartz inclusions, <1mm, abundant sub-rounded iron stone, <2mm, occasional grey/white stone inclusions, <2mm, and frequent micaeous flecks.Sherds 1 and 2 are both everted rim sherds from storage vessels, sherd 1 from a vessel with a mouth diameter of around 17cm, both also appear to be wheel thrown. Sherd 3 is an undecorated body sherd from a thicker walled greyware vessel.
