A lead-alloy or pewter handle, probably from a small knife or razor dating to the early post medieval period. The object is trapezoidal in plan and lentoidal in section. Both the upper and lower surfaces are decorated with a rib enclosing a marginal row of moulded dots. Iron corrosion products are also visible on both its upper and lower surfaces. It measures 43mm in length, 17mm in width and 4mm in thickness.
