Two medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap ends, 14th century:
- fragment of an outer sheet plate, broken at both ends, one across a rivet hole with the sides tapering towards the outside edge. Width 12.4mm.
- complete apart from some scuffing on the sides and edges, full-width spacer, two rivets, a pair of cut-outs on both sides above an elaborate trefoil knop, front outer plate engraved with a zig-zag of rocker-arm. Broadly comparable with Margeson 1993, no. 232. Length and width 49 and 10.5mm. Length of spacer 29.5mm.
