This object is trapezoidal in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. It has a transverse break at the top.

The object is corroded and green.

Height: 19.7mm; width: 42.0mm; thickness: 16.7mm. Weight: 65.56g.

Cast cooking vessels seem to have come into use in the second half of the 13th century and to have continued at least until c. 1600 (Geake 2001: 52).
