Small fragment of the lower part of a post-medieval copper alloy thimble, probably made in Nuremberg. Above the base a band of fleur-de-lis within oval pelleted frames line between two bands of crescents and dots. Above these are closely spaced round indentations. Diameter and height uncertain. Cf. Margeson 1993, nos. 1462-5. Late 16th century.
