Lead alloy spindle whorl, probably dating to the early Medieval period, c.500 - 1000AD. The whorl is circular ion form with a central hole 8mm in diameter. It is very flat, but has a slight D-shaped cross section.

33 mm in diameter, a thickness of 9.0 mm, weighing 43.26 g.
