A cast copper alloy suspension bar for a harness pendant. A triangular sectioned horizontal bar with an attachment hole containing a dome-heded copper alloy rivet at either end. Two lugs project downwards at the centre of the lower edge. The ends of the bar are slightly expanded and rounded to accomodate te domed rivets. Each has a narrowed, round ended projection. The two rounded lugs project downwards and each has a circular hole. Both contain iron corrosion from the remnant of a short axis bar from which a decorative pendant would have been suspended. The axis bar had the same alignment as the main bar. The mount is decorated with a pair of sharp. thin vertical collars at either end before the rivets. The back is flat and undecorated.
